Why Does Accreditation Matter?

Accreditation is an important consideration when choosing a college or university. Institutional accreditation provides assurance that an institution has been reviewed against established standards for educational quality and institutional effectiveness.

Accreditation may also be important when students transfer credits to another institution, continue their education, pursue graduate studies, seek professional opportunities, or need their academic education recognized by another institution or organization.

Life Pacific University determines its academic programs, admission requirements, transfer credit policies, degree requirements, and other academic policies. Students should review the current LPU catalog and program requirements for the most up-to-date information.

The Life Pacific University Catalog contains LPU’s academic calendars, programs, policies, tuition and fees, admissions requirements, and graduation requirements.

The catalog is an annual publication with an effective date of the first day of the Fall Term. Every effort has been made to make the catalog accurate as of the date of publication. However, all policies, procedures, fees, and charges are subject to change at any time by appropriate action of the faculty, administration, or Board of Trustees.
